Ok, I've got this guy on the way from Drs. F&S. They list it as easy or moderate care. I'm hoping this guy will be good on some rock low in the tank. I'll be rearranging for it today.

nice one. I've found them to be happy in a variety of lighting conditions, but bright light and gentle currents seem to be ideal. Give them plenty of space. They can be surprisingly aggressive to neighboring corals of different species.

Ok, great! I will show you how I place it and then if you have tips, lmk! :)

Is it OK in the rockwork? I have a bare-bottom.

Best,
Angela

I was eyeing this on liveaquaria. Its a really nice piece. I would love to see what it looks like when you get it. I have a couple and I feed them with frozen mysis and they have done great. I second bright light and gentle current.

Hi rama,

I was eying for a couple of days... it was unique looking! :) When an RBTA that was red and green came in I decided to buy both (have to justify the shipping;))

I will def post pix of it soon... Do you think it would take smaller food than mysis (cyclops, rods reef mix?)

So with 250w of halide, you'd say placement could be anywhere that the flow is gentle? --- top or bottom are both bright.

thx,
-A
