Hi, I would like to shared my recent experience with sympodium. Just two weeks ago I introduced a new blue sympodium piece, after a couple of days open. The piece started to shrink and parts of it disappeared. I decided to performed a lugols bath and a perfect mimetized nudibranch appeared. Hope to be able to recover the piece now.

Yep,,had the same experience as you.
I did not have the luxury of knowing the problem til they ate all of the sympodium,,there were actually two i found..
It did not take long at all for them to eat ALL of my mid size sympodium coral..

Make sure you find their eggs too. I believe some of them are hermaphroditic and can breed with only one of them.

:lmao: @ Brad
