symptoms of a stung coral?

a pumping xenia frag fell over this morning fairly close to my gbta. i only noticed it when i got home from work 12 hrs later.....my question is what are some symptoms of a stung coral or more specific a stung xenia. im not sure if my gbta got it b/c i got home and the bta was fully open and its tentacles were not touching the xenia..
and answers or suggestions?

If your Xenia got stung then it would have been retracted. If it did get stung I would run some carbon or do a small water change because I know Xenia can release some nasty chemicles into the water as a defense when they are engaged in a chemicle warfare/stinging fight.

My zenia isn't really affected by nem like other corals that show obvious stress.
It might not open real full next to nem.
Zenia is tough, and grows easy, I don't even stress it really.
