Symptoms of Copper toxicity

Can anyone tell me what the symptoms are for copper toxicity in aquarium fish (specifically in a clown)? I have searched the archives and cannot find the answer. Thanks

There usully floating at the top of the tank.

copper toxicity per sea will kill your fish. PEROID.

I dont know the symptoms leading up to that. meaning can you tell they have been over dosed. Other than they die.

The real Question is why are you treating them with copper ?
 
I do not use copper in my tanks but a colleague does. He used copper in his classoom tank because of suspected ich. Evidently his clownfish has been swimming abnormally, on his side, at the surface. I advised him to remove the fish into clean (non-copper) water and to keep an eye on it.

Like you, I think that a copper OD would result in death of the fish. There may be something else at play here but I thought maybe it could be the copper...
 
The clown will probably Die.
Clowns are extreamly sensitive to copper. as are others.
There are some fish that can be treated sucessfully with it.
