Yes It can change, I personally have mine set to fixed IP address. So I would says to put it to a fixed address to avoid that!

Default is 192.168.000.000 --- is there any ideal setting that I should use?

P.S. Dynamic picked up 192.168.1.5 so I could fix it to that.

OK set you Profilux unit to 192.168.0.124
put in the router section 192.168.0.1
and then do a port redirect 10001 -> 192.168.0.124 -> 10001

oups also set your subent mask to 255.255.255.0.

OK, so far I changed the IP address in the Profilux. I went into Control to se if I could still connect and I cannot.

ok so change your profilux to ba in the same subnet, that said change 192.168.0.124 to 192.168.1.124 and the router to 192.168.1.1 and it should all work again.

I changed the 0 to 1 and I connected!

now on to port mapping..... login to router 192.168.1.1 with explorer

That one I think I'm already set. Logged in to the router and used their "Port Forwarding/Port Triggering" config page to set up the range of 10001 to Server IP address of 192.168.1.124
