T-5 Suplemental Light Recommendations

I currently have a 60-gallon tank w/ 2-175 watt MH & 2-54 watt T-5 actinics for lighting.

I recently purchased a 150-gallon tank, 48x24x30, to upgrade to.

I was going to upgrade my metal halides to 2 400-watt bulbs (10k). My question is ......

Should I add 2 additional 54-watt T-5's for supplemental lighting (for 4 total) or will the 2 54-watt bulbs I run now be sufficient?

I really like the color of my tank currently and I am worried with the increase in white light the balance will not be the same.

Any recommendations will be greatly appreciated.

i would probably get 2 more 54w t5ho to balance out the 400watt MH. try the blue+, or if you can wait, get the UV lighting co (formerly URI) t5ho actinics. they are supposed to be out this month.

what actinics are in there now? ati/ d&D or the current brand?

The bulbs I currently have are true actinics by d-aquatic.

I was thinking I will need another set to balance out the light.
