I couldnt tell you which exact thread it was. I searched "Tek T5" and came across like 100 different threads lol. I went though abunch of them and got some good useful info on T5's. If I do come across it again ill be sure to post the link. Might have been "Grimreefer" who tested it.

Thanks seal..

That would be VERY nice if that's the case.

I wanted more blue in the aquarium but i was afraid of sacrificing par...but if it's similar par that would be awesome

Does anyone know more information about this?...

I remember that thread( not the link sorry :( ) But I think it was a lil misinterpreted. Blue+ having significantly more than a standalone blue, or actinic bulb, but NOT equally comparable to the 11k or especially the GE which flat out is a PAR monger:) Grim put more emphasis on the + bulbs because unlike the standalone blue or actinic it also has some day spectrum within it, in turn increasing the PAR and surpassing the standalones by a far margin. Again, close; but not entirely equal.

I run a Tek 8x54w T5 fixture over a 120. I can place SPS anywhere and clams on the sand bed 24" down. Blues do better up top but still do well lower down. My SPS range from 10 to 20 inches from the surface.

Well my tank has only been full blown T-5 for a couple of weeks, and I haven't been able to get the lights on a full cycle yet...so I won't post any full tank pics...but I wanted to show you some growth of acros under T-5. These are from when I was runnin 2x24w T-5 and a 55w PC over the course of about three months. The area that is shown was right under one of the T-5 bulbs.

This is from the day after Christmas.

Now that I'm running 5x24W T-5's I expect thing to do even better. It's just hard getting everything use to all the extra light. I started mt lighting cycle a little to agressively and ended up bleaching a lot of sps frags...
