t-6 high output?

Has anyone heard of this kind of lighting?...It is supposed to be better than metal halides. Just wondering if anyone has used them yet?

I don' think t-6 has the spectrum for fish tanks yet. I haven't head of anyone planning on going that route either.

I've seen a few T-6 fixtures actually, though I haven't seen much in the bulb department for these guys, I HAVE seen the fixtures.... I'd just stick to T-5 units....

they carry t6 bulbs at petland in amherst and I played with them alittle bit.I tried to overdrive them and they only lasted about a week.I think T5 or VHO are way brighter
