T5 bulbs for my RSM 250

I have used T5 bulbs that came with the tank and noticed my SPS colors gradually bleaching, although it looks like it is growing. So I changed it with the same RSM T5 HO 39W 10000K and actinics. Now 2 months out , I did not see a change in the colors.

On the RSM Owners Club forum I came across
this discussion and decided to give it a try. But I added a midday bulb in the middle

I tried to document the difference in output for future reference and comparison
second picture is the new bulbs

it is hard to see in the pictures but there is definitely a difference in brightness
And 1 day out, I see a difference in my coral response to the light
Of course, this is still way too soon to judge with certainty, but I am happy to say the least.

I recently asked BSL about ATI bulbs after seeing the ATI Blue Plus. I was thinking about trying this combo in my 4 bulb nano:

ATI Blue+
ATI Purple+
Aquablue special
ATI Blue+

sofar I am really happy with the response of my coral with the ATI bulbs
That's about the config I have except the Midday bulb, it is a larger diameter bulb by Giesemann, you can check out the spectrum at Reefgeek

I'll check that out later. I already know the light output is pleasing for the eyes, but let us know how the coral responds.

Aquablue Special: Combines the properties of a full-spectrum bulb with an elevated blue color peak producing a bulb with an approximate color temperature of 15000K.

Blue Plus: Combines the properties of a blue bulb (approximately 460nm) with an actinic bulb (approximately 420nm) producing an intense blue light with high PAR numbers and a light spectrum that encourages both bluing in SPS corals and fluorescence in capable corals.

Purple Plus: Combines the properties of a full spectrum bulb with strong red and blue components producing a bulb with excellent color-rendition that makes your purple monti frag you gave me last christmas really pop, it's right under the bulb

Markus, you remember this purple frag?
Underneath is a branching monti or stylophora that came as a hitchhiker on a frag but now is about fist size. It touched the purple monti and fried part of it. It also had seededmy tank and is even growing on my Hydor pump

Nice! You may want to separate those two sps or you will end up with a UFC match that ends badly.

I had looked those up earlier and added the purple in the mix. I'll definitely include that after hearing how well you like it.
