Will a T5 HO ballast that turns on 1 or 2 54W bulbs turn on two 24W bulbs? My canopy is only 30" inside

If it will run 2 54w, it will work for 2 24w...

just didvide the total watts output of the ballast in question, and divide by the wattage of the bulbs you want to run.. thats how many bulbs it can run

You think just one (or two) actinic T5 bulb would be suitable over a 40gal. tall?

i wouldnt run the actinic, but the blue+

What is the differnce between the blue + and actinics?

actinic is purple and the blue+ is blue.
