T5/LED Hybrid

So I am starting to plan out my new 125 gallon mixed reef build and I'd like to try my hands at a DIY T5/LED combo. Question is - How many light bulbs/strips should I go with for an 18" wide tank?

Depends what your trying to grow...I run 4 T5s(2xBlue+ 2x Coral+) with 3 AI Hydra 26s down the center. Looks Great

I am running two ATI T5 with a Reefbreeders V2 and love the color and growth I am seeing in my 65.

I ramp up the LEDs for 2 hours, then the blues come on, keep ramping the leds for 2 more hours and the C+ come on for 4 hours(all lights on at peak) . Then C+ go off ,leds start ramping down , 2 hours later the Blues go off and then 2 hours later leds off

Hydras are "self" controled ( MY AI ) and my phone, the T5s are on regular timers.
