I will take $1400.00 for tis it is about 6 to months old .

I am looking for thouhts on a T5 set up

I am thinking something like 2 ,36 inch fixtures with 54 or 80 watt 6 bulb set up each .

arent the 36" bulbs limited to 39watts? and the 48" are 54w right? i just got a 36" 6x39 and its really bright. check out my post w/pics from earlier. 2 of them would be really bright

I have a six foot tank so I would need 2 36 inch wide fixtures .

If I could find a 72 inch fixture I think I would have a issue finding the bulbs I want .

Check out www.aquauniverse.com. I just got my 72 inch t5 setup from them and I love it. I have 6 60 inch bulbs and it is amazing how bright they are. They come with individual reflectors too.

I did a lot of research on other lights before I ordered these. I heard good and bad things about this company before I ordered these, but the good seemed to outweigh the bad and I couldn't be happier with them.

they are not limited to that, i can run them at 80 watts with a icecap 660 at lot brighter and alot hotter

I know it says that you are not supposed to but can you mount the tek lights into a canopy with proper air movement?

yes all you have to do is run a small fan

I have been looking around I found a 16 bulb 6 foot T5 fixture all bulbs are 39watt 624 watts if a use a larger ballast I think I maybe able to push over 800 watts . Yes ?

I am also thinking of ordering ATI bulbs

i want a ATI fixture

i heard very good thing about the ATI bulbs

you dont reallly need the bigger ballast unless you want to over drive the bulbs and if you cant keep them cool you will be replacing bulbs every 8 months to a year compaired to 15-24 months

moonpod has one

but it is 220v
