T5 Lights

What a difference the lights made to the tank. I added two 4 foot T5 lights to my 4 VHO bulbs running. I would like to say thanks to Wet Pets for working with me on the lights.

I also got new T-5's from WetPets, Steve sales for the same price that you can get on the internet along with a 10% COMAS discount making them cheaper then internet prices.

I added six bulbs with 3 ballast turning on at different times and going off in reverse order.

I removed my MH's and VHO's for T-5's, I am very pleased with the way the light has turned out and the more viberant colors.

Next three pics are each set turning on. Camera options have been adjusted to keep from getting to much white.

from all my reading on the T-5's if your using the SLS tek fixture make sure to keep the salt creep off the reflectors and you can almost doubble the par if you use a fan to blow across the bulbs .....too bad SLS dropped there RC forum...i guess after trying to sue icecap and everyone opting for the new aquatinics/icecap powered / fan cooled T-5 fixture they just couldnt compete with the par ratings.....too bad they had to opt for a lawsuit
