Question regarding this bulb.

Is the red spectrum going to increase the algae growth very much?

For a 4 bulb setup?

2 Blues 1 Coral 1 Purple

or

2 Blues 1 Coral 1 Actinic

No it won't promote algae growth assuming your nutrients are kept in check.

As for what combo, depends what look your like. Top will be brighter and little more pink

I have that combo currently. Front and rear rows are B+, second row front is C+, 2nd row rear is P+. Pretty happy with no additional unwanted algae over any other combo I've tried
