T5 Reflector Clear Coat?

Is anyone aware of a clear coat that can be sprayed to a new T5 reflector to prevent pitting from salt spray? I typically have to replace my reflectors when I change my bulbs due to pitting. And wanted to see if anyone has had success with any type of clear coat spray.

I believe you can use regular car wax on them.

Thanks. I never thought of using wax. I was looking at Maine clear coatings like toon-brite P 1000.
