t5 replacement time

I am running two 150 hqi 15k and two 39 watt t5's on my 46 bow.
The t5's are marine glo by hagen. Looking for something that will add better color for sps. Any suggestions? The 15k hqi will stay the same.

I'm a big fan of Geismann. I've bene running actinic + and pure actinic + and am happy with them. The actinic + while burning is blue and the pure actinic + is lighter colored (but I think it's supplying the lower nm spectrum more than the others). Which 15K DE are you running?

I am running the catalina reef grow bulb. It is not as blue as the pheonix 14k more like a 12k imo. The bulb has produced great growth. Is reef geek the best place for t5's?

That's who I usually use. Dave at Atlantis here in town mentioned that he might start selling Geismann and UVL's, but I'm not sure where he is on that yet.

What do you think about using two of the pure actinic with my two 15k 150's.

If it were me, that's what I'd do. I like blue. T5's are such a different blue than VHO's (VHO's more purple), that it will likely come out pretty crisp. I think the pure actinic +'s are bringing a lot of color pop to the table.
