twon8 Formally registered membe May 17, 2006 #2 a t-5 is 5/8 of an inch diameter, and a t-12 is around an inch and a half for a 90, each t-5 ho would be 54 watts, each vho would be 110, and with proper reflector the t-5 puts out way more light imo.

horkn New member May 17, 2006 #3 make sure the t5is T5HO, and not plain t5. also, use good reflectors for each t5ho tube, and you will be set. whats up with guys setting 90g's up? theres like 6 threads now on t5s and 90g tanks.. and i have a 90g in progress (slow progress) as well
