T5 ?

I currently have 4 65w 10000k's and 4 65w 50/50. Having some trouble with the connectors getting brittle and breaking. Anyway, my ? is it possible to change my hoods to fit T5 lights?

You can retro fit T5's into just about any hood as long as you can mount the endcaps and have the length to fit the bulbs/reflectors.

My hood is 48". Are the T5's better quality? The PC's that I have runn very hot. Do T5s' run hot?

T5's will run just as hot as PC's for the same wattage. Can you add some fans in your hood?

T5's can be better if you get good individual bulb reflectors.

I have indv reflectors and fans on the hood already. I do need more fans I know. Are T5's better than PC"s?
