FedEx had to try more than once this snowy holiday season to get my order of T6HO lamps to me. When it did arrive, the box was not in the best shape and both T6 lamps were snapped in two. After placing the lamps in a garbage bag and letting the mercury vapor dissipate outside for a few days, I examined the broken lamps.
I was surprised to see that the glass of the T6 lamps was barely a millimeter thick. I thought that the glass of T6 and T5 lamps would be thicker.
Where can I find information regarding the standard glass thicknesses of different types of fluorescent lighting (T5, T6, T8, T12)?
