Tag who wins LPS or SPS

stupid question I know... if a orange cap and a hammer are in proximity to each other who's gonna win. My intuition tells me that the hammer is gonna but figured I'd double check and make sure.

I have had Orange cap and hammers right next to each other without any problems. Neither coral seemed to suffer.

my hammer was next to monti cap but had to be seperated the hammer was killing the cap..
