I have a 180 gal w ~40gal sump
Live rock and fish only (as well as hermits and Nass snails)
Nitrite 0
Nitrate 30ppm
1blue hippo tang
1fox face
2ocellaris clowns
3 pj cardinals
My foxface rabbitfish has developed some fin and tail rot he has been fighting it for about 6 months now. I'm not sure how to tell when it stops progressing so can't say if it has gotten worse or stayed the same in the last couple months.
I bought some melafix and erythromycin to treat him but after looking into them more it seems neither will help him. What medication should I treat him w? Will he heal on his own at this point or is qt and treatment my only option?
The edges of his fin seem to be a dark color is that a bad or good sign?
