Tail rot

I just got a chevron tang and within a week its is showing signs of tail rot.. I have a med called Erythromycin for tail rot. And Prime. What is the best treatment for this and what sizeQT tank. Here a pic..

HI there.

The med is right and you are going to need a fair sized hospital tank for a tang. The bigger the better. I would say nothing smaller than a 33 at the smallest.Prime will help keep your water dealable if you are just throwing together a hospital tank. Dose that everyday and do a water change daily and vacume up any food or waste and all should be good.
