Tailspot Blenny flashing?

So I have a Tailspot Blenny in QT who, on day 6, started flashing and biting his own tail. Some Googling said this behavior was indicative of flukes or ich. I dosed PraziPro first followed by a second dose 5 days later (second dose added yesterday morning). I'm still seeing flashing and frequent yawning, but i'm no longer seeing him bite himself. He has a good appetite, always begging, eats all the LRS he can fit in his mouth. Eyes are clear, no white spots on his fins or body and no gold dusting or excess mucous hanging from the gills. He hangs out in the open during the day, not gasping at the surface or hiding. Visually, he looks like a very healthy and hungry fish, but he yawns every 2 - 3 minutes and flashes off this decoration in the QT now and then. Never seen him flash off anything else so I don't know if it's a territorial display since that's also where he sleeps or if it's disease. Any ideas? I'm stumped. I know ich has invisible life stages, but wouldn't I be seeing spots after 6 days of flashing?

Please excuse the smoky water, the WC I did prior to PraziPro sparked a bacterial bloom which is why the water looks smokey. Watch in HD for the clearest view of the fish.

If the parasites are confined to the gills, you won't see spots. I would run this fish through TTM, personally.

I would much rather do TTM than treat with Copper, honestly. Let's say I do TTM though, where does he go after the 13 days since the QT he's in is infected? Could he just go straight into the DT? Once this round of PraziPro treatment is complete, he will have been in QT for 2 weeks. TTM would take up another 2 weeks, and I usually QT for observation for 4 weeks.

Any help is appreciated at this point.

You should clean and sanitize the QT he is currently in, then refill with fresh SW. You can then place the blenny in the clean QT once TTM is complete. What are you planning to use for TTM containers?

Hopefully Microbacter7 will cycle the QT quickly afterwards then, i'd hate for him to get into an unsafe/uncycled tank, but it's looking like that or copper at this point. I have 2x white food grade 5g buckets, I also have two spare Jager heaters for 5 gallons.

I'd recommend getting several airstones as well. They are cheap enough that you can discard after each transfer (use new tubing for each transfer). I always use a bacteria starter (Bio-spira) in my QTs. Never had a problem with ammonia.

I have brand new airline hosing and a pack of airstones as well. I intended to start my new tank right by doing TTM on all fish but due to problems that popped up, I wasn't able to do this. The first fish was moved in pre-maturely (long story). Not too happy about that, but it is what it is.

Thanks for the feedback guys, looks like i'll be starting this adventure this weekend. Time to burn through some salt, haha.

That's a beautiful fish by the way and seems to have quite the personality. I hope all goes well and he's happy and healthy in your DT very soon!
