I was about to turn the lights off after taking a few pictures and saw this gem. I didnt have time to put the camera on a tripod, but took what I could.

Saw me and decided to make the run for it !

Those are some awesome pictures for no tripod! May I ask what type of camera/lens you are using? That's a beautiful coral it's sitting on; is it a chalice?

Thanks! It was difficult and spur of the moment.

Its a Canon 60d with a 100mm f/2.8L Macro lens.

Yes, that is a chalice. One of the sides has an opening and it is sitting inside the chalice.

I like this fish both in the ocean and in aquaria. Nice pictures especially for no tripod.
