tailspot blenny

Do you mean associate as in the relationship between a watchman goby and pistol shrimp pair for example? Or as in do they get along with one another? I don't believe a tail spot will ever pair with a shrimp, as far as I'm aware they just aren't that kind of burrow dwelling fish. However I have occasionally caught my tail spot allowing my fire shrimp to allmmooosstttt clean him. Hope this helps!

The reason I'm asking was I noticed my tailspot moving sand and small rocks. First time I ever saw it do that and I have had it almost a year.

Thnx
John

Mine does some of this also from time to time. Although usually he just takes a couple of mouthfuls of sand and spits them out on one of my corals. I'm not sure if he's trying to eat algae or something that might be in the sand, or just enjoys being a troublemaker and irritating a coral.
