Take a closer look at what's under your live rock, bad hitchikers

So yesterday I was taking out of my live rock to move an anemone from the back to the front. As I was placing the live rock back in the tank I found a black sea urchin and some mystery crab on the bottom of one of my rocks. You would think you could catch the sea urchin from the very start... I never knew he was there. Threw them both in the refugium. Will take pictures later.

same story here......found a sundail snail once when looking under a zoa rock.......dunno where the heck it came from, but it was BIG....funny thing is i don't recall ever losing any of my zoas/frags...go figure

I checked every other rock I could find but did not find anything else.... good thing

I have found nudis (even after a dip) hiding under loosly attached polyps. I now check to see if there are any loose polyps and if there is anything hiding underneath them before placing them in the tank.
