Current setup:
Tank - 120 gallon aquarium (48x24x24)
Lighting - 250 W SE MH x2 (XM 10K) and PC 96x2 actinic on flat reflector retro
Skimmer - ASM G3
Water movement only a few small powerheads and return pump
No Calcium reactor, No fuge

I do have a hydronephora that is has done well but not really growing but good color. I just now purchased and ro/di and plan a large water change to help "cleanse" the system. I have been dosing aragamilk.
What adjustments do I need to sucessfully keep more SPS? I plan on doing 2-3 MJ Mods for sure...

Also, why did my softies have better color when they just had 192w PC on a 46 gallon?

PLEASE HELP ME...

some softies and lps dont do well under higher intensity light IME. i would defenitally do two smaller maxijet mods. i just did two high flow 1,200 mj mods and its too crazy in there... a calcium reactor would be nice(wish i had one) but you can work without one fairly easily. a fuge is a good nutrient export but you can get more done with a good skimmer and water changes.

start off easy. Montiporas of all kind. theyre almost impossible to kill.
