Tammy 90 does Macro!

After searching for this lens all over the place, I finally got ahold of a good copy from KEH. I wanted the Nikon 105VR but the Tammy 90 is about $550 LESS. :eek2:
For a lens that will pretty much stay on a tripod and be manual focused all the time, I figured I don't need VR and AF-S. Use the extra money for beer.

My macro rig. Right now I'm using an SB600 for flash, maybe I'll invest on a ringflash soon.

of course there has to be some coral shots.. VERY difficult to shoot. I have plenty to learn when it comes to shooting macros in the tank. I need more practice.

Nice shots! I have had a lot of practice shooting in tank stuff with my 55mm kit lens on my d40. It is very tricky.

I can not wait to find my tamron...

Here are a few shots of mine:

Nice job on the cricket. Did you drug it or something? I've never been able to get any insects to sit still at all.
