Novice question here - Thinking about using some TBS rock for my new 90 gallon. Will gorilla crabs or mantis shrimp try to eat my smaller fish like my sharknose goby and firefish?

My live rock and sand from TBS will arrive on Saturday! My setup of the new 75 gallon will start then! This is my second purchase from TBS and it is the best rock you can buy, the life on it is just amazing!

Like everything thing else, set up a quarantine tank

GC = maybe depending on size.
MS = absolutley

Try to get them all out before you put the rock in. Itll save you a lot of headache.

I actually paid for a pistol shrimp. Not from tbs but he is one of my favorites. So I find it funny that people are worried about them.

There's a bunch of litle crabs in mine. There was a cool black and white one that was quite gregarious and not shy at all. It made it easy to spear him as he was out in the open all the time. I felt a little bad but I could tell he was a naughty one. I'm going to stick a little airline-sized booze bottles in there with some bait in it for the others.
