Tan Spot on Lobo

I recently purchased a large lobo 6-8 inches across with great coloration. I have had him in my tank for about two weeks and I have recently noticed that a penny sized spot on his flesh has turned a tannish color. He still seems to be all puffed up and I can't detect any other problems with him. Any suggestions on what this way be?

Without pictures, we're all just guessing anyways. I'm assuming he wasn't tannish color to start with anywhere else? Original coloration was...? Lighting now versus before you bought it...? So many possibilities.
