Tang caught in Condi

I found my yellow tang this morning caught in the condi anenome. I don't know how long she was in there. I was able to pry her out, but she is showing signs of stress. Do you have any suggestions for how to help her rehab and recover? Do you think she is, aside from stress, affected by anything else in relation to stinging or venom?

It has just been stung by 1000's of nematocysts, there 's a lot more than stress going on. Set up a QT and watch very carefully, it will probably have some neurological damage and it's very unlikely it will recover, IMO.

That's the thing about condys, they're fish grabbing machines and their sting is among the worst as far as anemones are concerned. Good luck to youand your fish, hope it'll make a turn for the better.

Lets hope it wasn't stuck in there too long. I have a yellow tang that mu GBTA got to but I caught it right away. It was a little loony for about an hour but it recovered just fine.

The Tang perished about two hours after being released. This is exactly the reason for the mystery death of my Gobi this summer, but I never saw it in the anenome. I had no idea, thanks for the explanation.
