Ok...so my kole tang got the ich. fn a. I tried some ninja techniques, fish traps w algae clips inside, leaving nets in the tank, all to no avail. I've been here before so i didn't waste too much time with all that before i decided to take out all the rock...which is so fun. I caught my angel, wrasse, and maroon clown, and when i went in for the tang he flipped out and ran himself into my branching hammer coral. Son of a fish cut himself pretty dawn good and is not looking too great in his qt. His color is very blotchy...but his attitude seems to be alright.
So I guess my question would be...how deadly is my hammer? Is there any treatment i can put in the qt for him? I use the tank transfer method for treating ich, so no chemicals are added to the qt right now.
This just happened like an hour ago and i am heading to the airport to pick up my better half right now, so Im just keeping my fingers crossed. Everyfish else looks good though right now, and I got to change up a couple things when putting my live rock back together...there is always a silver lining.
