Tangs, Tangs, Tangs

Hello,

I have a Yellow Tang doing hunky dory fine. I have struck out with PB Tangs (3 of them), I am done with them.

I would like to get another tang of some sort that would be about the same size as the yellow (adult size). Any opinions about any particular species?

Thanks,

Don

Purple or a gem if you can afford it and of course your tank size will rule any decisions

Kole tangs add a lot of personality to the tank and are easy to care for. If you're looking for an acanthurus, like the powder blue, you can look into the convict tang. I never kept one personally, but I've heard good things in terms of their care.

If you're willing to move outside the tangs, you can consider a species of foxface too.

Purple tang. A small Chevron tang would be fine in a tank that size for a LONG time as well. White-tail bristletooth tangs are cool as well.

I recently got a lavender tang and it has become my favorite. My PB is a fat monster but the lavender has a different look that I really like.
