Tank and light for mushrooms

Do you think this tank and light is good enough for mushrooms only. I heard the filter will not last long in saltwater what do you think? Please feel free to recommend other nano tanks that would be good to only house mushrooms.

If you use a nano tank like that you're going to have some serious problems keeping up with evaporation. I think its plastic, so sticking a heater in there would be problematic as well. Just get a 5 gallon glass.... But even then you'll still need some kind of ATO to replenish evaporation loss.

As for the light... I dunno. Depends on the LEDs inside. If they don't give off enough PAR, then the mushrooms will die. A tank like that is really meant for freshwater.

+1, not sure if the lights work for saltwater corals, or even what spectrum they are...

Thanks, I decided to go with a JBJ 3 gal picotope. I will make a lid to keep evaporation down.
