Tank at 6 months.

wow scowii looks good.. your gongorian still looks really healthy and glad to see you still have some of your sponges. What all corals have you added since you got your tbs. Your zoanthids are really nice, i am going to have to get me some. That is one coral i havent tried yet but i love the vibrant colors.

Okay in the picture i have added.

On the far left Briarium stars which I got two months ago and has spread like wildfire on that large rock. I got three rocks of Zoas (Peanut Butter Browns right above the briarium) and then the two on the right which has a mixture of orange and green and what appears to be eagle eyes. I will hopefully frag some of them within a month or two.

Then there is some Xenia in there.

The gorgonian has done awesome. Its nice and fat and loves to eat when I dose the tank with brine shrimp for my three fish and serpent stars it catches it and eats it also. I literally watched it one night consume it. :)

I had to trade the Condy as it outgrew the tank. I replaced it with a BTA which you can kinda see in the bottom right corner cave area. And a Yellow striped clown is its friend. And I have a diamond goby to help clean the sand and a Purple firefish which hides all the time only comes out to eat.

Other than that my only losses from what Richard sent me was a few snails and hermits and I loss A yellow sponge and loss my decorator crab. And I lost the two clams. But the flame scallops are still kicking and healthy. Everything else is doing good.

I still havent seen the pistol or mantis yet but I can hear him.

I do a 5 gallon water change every two weeks. Top off about 1/2 gallon of RODI water due to evap every three-four days. And I feed the tank every other day two Tsp of DT Phyto and 1/2 cube of Brine/Mysis Frozen. And Spot feed the fish also with pellet food. But they like the brine al ot better.

i love the briarum stars i have some of those too, the color is so nice and i love the way they sway in the water. your xenia is gonna spred like crazy too. i havent really been able to get on lately to post any updates or check in to see how everyone elses tanks are going. glad you are keeping us up to date.

do you know what kind of gongorian that is? it is nice. I have been dosing my tank with dt's and marine snow and some brine shrimp too, so far so good, i will try to post some pics soon

i have always wanted a purple firefish but afraid it might jump out. i have a canopy on my tank but the back is open.

what size tank do you have?

29 gallon bio cube. I leave my tank back and front open during the day to combat the heat haven't seen any of them jump.
