The only counter to the thinking that I can come up with is the fact that in the ocean after a typhoon there are trillions of gallons of water for the mess to dissipate into.
It all disapates into the diatom filter. I suck it all out. There has never been a problem with shocking anything. If this were a DSB I could not do this but in my RUGF, there is nothing to worry about.
