Tank builders?

My father is interested in having a custom glass tank built. Curious if there are any local builders people recommend. Any input would be appreciated.

Not glass that I'm aware of, but there is a guy down on the peninsula that makes outstanding custom acrylic tanks. Gen at Kritter Tanks

Do you realize you are posting on a northern California club's section? If you are really in Thousand Oaks, I suggest you contact some local clubs.

There is a fellow in Sacramento that makes great (also not cheap) glass tanks. If you are interested, contact MARS, the local Sac club.

Oops missed that! You're not far from vivid aquarium in canoga park. They probably have a few builders they work with that can get you a quote. My wife's family is from down there. We are in TO a few times a year. Cheers!

I realize I'm posting up north. This tank isn't for myself, but rather someone that lives in Santa Rosa.

my recommendations are do a reef tank and join Wine Country Reefers.

+1 what Bob said about joining our group. A lot of sharing individuals especially if your a newbie. An individual you want to contact is Keith Grandt signature aquariums in sacramento. He is highend but the quality is on point. Basically you get what you pay for.
