tank building help

Happy Halloween to all.

I am building a large custom tank, and I was wondering what I should do with the ends of the glass? should I have them beveled, polished or what? Im not an expert with glass so any help would be greatly appreciated.

What silicone should I use/where could I get it? All of the tanks I have repaired in the past I have used g&e silicone 1 and never had a problem. Is there anything better that is redly available?

Also is there any problems with having the back glass cut and putting to overflow on the outside like miricles does it with the box siliconed to the back?

And any other secrets/pointers would be appreciated.

Thank you guys for your expertise.

I've never built a glass tank yet, but I do like the look of beveled and polished edges. If your building an inwall tank, than that wouldn't really matter that much.

I've seen plenty of custom tanks and all of the nicest ones had polished and beveled edges.
