Tank Crash! Frogspawn Help!

Hello fellow reefers! so about two weeks ago, i went on vacation and one of my buddies kept an eye on my tanks. He did everything i asked him too, but he also shut off my A/C thinking i left it on by accident. So AZ=1000 degrees=dead fish and coral...

So i pretty much lost all of my livestock besides my tangs and clowns. Most of my corals went also. I did water changes and got everything back to par.
I left the coral skeletons in there hoping that somehow they'd revive.

My frogspawns, i have like 5 colonies, each 15+ heads, have some babies at the base of the stalks. My question is, should I cut off the dead heads at the tip of the stalk to give the babies more energy to regenerate per say? Or should i leave them like that and see if the big heads start to revive?

TIA :bounce2:

I'd leave them, if they're as small as I think. You may want to break up the head to give them a clear exposure to light and food, but I wouldn't hassle them any more than that while they recuperate. I've had bailed polyps regrow base: I've never had one re-emerge from a dead base. But they're tough---and I'm surprised by nothing where it comes to their regenerative ability.
Mine thrive on dried krill ground up in a mortar.
