Tank crash

Can't Stop Time
Well, as the title says my tank crashed. I had a really busy end of the week (a chem test (on thurs), bio test (on fri), and a bio lab (wed) and chem lab (fri)). I didn't sleep wed night and only a few hours on thurs, so I wasn't paying much attention to my tank. Unfortunately both my Regal Angel and my Longnose Butterfly died. I don't know how they died or why, but the Regal had been in my tank for quite some time while the longnose had only been in there for a couple months so I am assuming he died first. Since I wasn't paying any attention to my tank I didn't notice that any fish were missing. I think the corals went on friday morning, but I am not sure. All I have left are some mushrooms, a single clump of zoas and a brown stag that is the ugliest thing I have ever seen. So I will be restarting the tank this next week, hopefully things will look better soon.

So sorry to hear that. Blasted hobby- my husband says (of his model train) "At least when I'm too busy to work on MY hobby, nothing dies."

It does suck, but I helped a guy setup his tank and he has a lot of killer acros and montis, so I am going to run up and frag his stuff when I am confident in the tank again. I am also going to be using digital pH monitors and a controller to make sure everything stays right where I want it. I have always been a little liberal in my lighting hours and tank temp and everything. It may have come back around, so its time to get a little more religious about all the specifics. I am more upset about losing my Regal than anything. He had been in the tank for a while and ate very well, he will be very hard to replace.

Our coral (SPS and some soft) aren't real big, but we can give you a few frags if you would like some. Starting over stinks and if your a student, I would guess you aren't swimming in cash. Let us know.

Thanks for the offer it is very generous, I don't think that getting frags will be a problem, but the offer is still very much appreciated.

Scott and John came over to check out the bare tank and help me get things back together, so hopefully I can get things back in check and add some frags. Hopefully I will be able to get some pictures up when some frags are added.
