Tank Crashed

Returned home from a business trip to devistated tank. Not sure what happened, does not matter at this point. My job now requires a lot of travel so I'm out for awhile.

Watch the selling forum. I only bought high end equipment.

O Man I am sorry to hear that. I think your tank was one of the best tanks out there. I was just going to PM you and ask you the secret to keeping the RED Abrotaniodes alive. Don't give up. Dan.

Charles,
Very sorry to hear. I've had a couple tank nukes losing a bunch of sweet SPS and have almost thought of bagging it also but am glad I didn't. I hope you'll continue. If so let me know when you're ready for frags.

Sorry to hear this for you, I hope all is not lost and will pull through for you. I had a problem a little over 1 yr ago and lost alot of very nice pieces. It's taken awhile but got them back and then some. Keep us posted.

Charles, that sucks, is it a total loss? If you decide to get back in If got plenty of frags for you.

Thanks guys. I posted the thread. I have met a lot of very cool peolple here. I'll be back.

See you later.

Charles

Dude, are you serious? That sucks. Right when tubs and a few others get back into the swing also.

I hear you about work though. gotta do whatcha gotta do.

I found the problem. Stray voltage from my closed loop pump. Everything is on GFI and I have a grounding probe. This pump was the only one on the house GFI and not the circuit I built seperatly for my system. I'm still at a loss as to why the house GFI did not trip.

I saw my Mimic Tang finally come out of the rocks - massive Laterial Line problems. That's how I knew. My thumb has a scratch and when I stuck it in sure as hell there it was.

Sorry Sean, all your frags are dead.
Dave, yours too.
HZ- half of yours I brought home are gone.

I hate life right now.

Creetin- send on the piece there is no longer electrical current in the tank, and a local is very capable of caring for it until I come back.

Just wondering if you had someone watching the tank for you while you were gone. Not that it helps things now. Just a question in my mind.

Sorry about that Charles, but glad you're alright and didn't experience the same fate as the corals. Just curious how a burnt up motor start capacitor could cause a ground current leak, but then again, if there's metal in contact with the water, that would certainly do it. LMK if there's anything you'd like me to do to help. Must be a bad day for water, though, 'cause I just got a call and we sprung a leak at work and damaged probably half a million dollars worth of equipment.
