I think it looks good, but I also think you should not have mentioned the Hippo Tang. He looks small now, but I think he will outgrow the 24 gallon soon. The Tang Police is coming for you man. Just kidding. I'm sure you will learn much at your work, and I'm sure you will like the employee discounts, right?? I give you a 10/10 so far.

a Hippo Tang should be in a 75G to 100G tank, if not bigger. he can be easily stressed in such a confined area, and when Tangs get stressed they are more lickly to get ick.

My tang is fine she is very small right now and tthat is why i got her

when she gets to big my dad has a 55gallon i can move her to

ED: i work Mondays and Saturdays now

Can anybody tell me anything about my ricordea?

Tang police. Tang five-o. In effect.

Our rics don't seem to be real hungry for light, direct food, nor current. I usually have to have them tucked just under a ledge so they get some light, but not full on. Otherwise they don't get happy. I'm running a lot of watts though... >10w/gal currently.

PS

the weirdest thing about my tang

She treats the feather duster like an anemone and she is the clownfish

normal behavior

i think not

you tell me!

lol :)

Does it look like it's rotting? Does is look like it's melting? Yucky colors? You know, the look of death? Curling up real bad?

If the tentacles are just "nubby", I'd go as far to say that's normal.

Like I said, if something's wrong, you'll know.

Working at your reef....Isn't that like moving in with your crack dealer? Run away....very fast ....while you might still have a chance.....Unless you get a big employee discount. If so, how about coming over to the house for dinner sometime, we'll get to know each other a little better.:D

Ha ha very funny.........i dont do it for the money (all though it is a great bonus) i like working there to be around all the fish and corals :)

how do you tell if the ricordea is open nobody is telling me about this!!!! lol

Still not even close to being a suitable size. I got a small blue tang and in over a year it grew 4inches. Working at your reef i would hope you would know better. Good thing is im sure you can always put it up for re-sale there. Other then that it looks like your on the right track, nice tank thanks for sharing.

Hope this is a better pic
