I have a question about setting up a tank drain from the DT to the sump. Instead of having the pvc pipe flow directly into the sump. I was thinking of going another route. I have attached a picture to show what I mean.
The lower tank is the sump, and the water level is higher than the pvc in the sump. This is just a picture representation so its not exactly what it is, water will not overflow the sump or anything like that. I was thinking of instead of running the pipe so that it is dropping water on the top part of the sump to run it to the bottom of the sump and have water run in that way. Has anyone done it like this? Any advice?
