Tank Drilling

Setting up my new tank and was wondering if anyone in the knoxville area had equipment to drill a couple holes in two sump tanks for me?

I can loan you the hole saws or if you bring the tank here I'll drill it for you.

Few questions:

1) What size bits do you have?

2) How often do breaks happen?

I really don't know that much about this process only they charge a good bit locally and they don't gaurantee against broken tanks, etc....

Let me know and I can drive up when have some free time.

Knock on wood, I haven't broken one yet but I've only drilled about 15 holes, but it's always a possibility. The key is not to get in a hurry, let only the weight of the drill push against the glass. I have always used just a battery powered hand drill and it's worked well, I drilled 7 holes in my 240 with it and that was 3/4" glass. As for sizes I have a set starting at 1/2" - 2 1/2". :bum:
