does anyone know what size hole saw i need to use a 1 inch bulkhead. thanks in advance-Rich...

pretty sure it's 1 3/4" for 1" bulkhead.
I found them from a seller on you-know-who-bay named saltydepot with free shipping.

Depends on the bulkhead manufacturer, but 1-3/4" is about standard.

When I drilled my tank, I used the hole saw to drill hole in piece of 1x6. Than I used that as a template for drilling the tank to help keep the bit from walking....plus my hands were shakin like a leaf drilling a brand new expensive tank

Look on the Savko site for hole sizes for different types of bulkheads.

For a 1" sch 80 bulkhead it takes a 17/8" to 2" hole
