Tank Envy

Hello All. It has been a while since I last posted. I am sure more than a few of you remember my tank's demise after a nasty power outage in the basement that I stupidly found out about two days too late...

I took down my tank after I realized it couldn't be saved. A few rocks make it to Mike's house and hopefully some life pulled through.

I just realized I had mad tank envy when I got a little kit of seamonkeys for the desk at my office. It is a far cry from my old tank. I started lurking in RC again and thought I would just say hello.

Eileen, I think we had some unfinished business. Did I need to give you something? Sorry I am like a year late in following up. Some things came up after my tank went down. But they say better late than never...

One day I hope to be a proud tank owner, but I will need to wait till we finally buy a house. I would have to keep it out of sight where I currently live, and I have found out in the past that that is a bad idea for something that needs daily loving.

Hey Daniel, LTNS and all that rot. Yeah I still have your rock, although the algae on it ugh.. I can't remember where i put it, some of it might be in the sump, some maybe in the tank(s)... After a while it all looks the same too me except for the really large pieces.

I think I am going to plan out my next setup and post things here are they flesh out for input. I don't think I will have my next tank for another year or so, so until then I will need to live vicariously through you all.

Eileen, I think it was the crack sealed mag pump that I had promised you. It is still nagging me in the back my head I need to give you something.

I noticed that Ron Shimek's forum is gone. Did he stop writing for RC?

Good luck in finding a house - tuff market. Yeah it was the cracked mag pump/prizm skimmer thing.
