how does this circ diagram look?

my tank is a 37g acrylic w/ center overflow
the dims are 24x18x18

my return pump is a quietone 4000
it will be split with 2 Y's to produce 3 outputs...I havent decided if I want 3/4 or 1/2 reducers for the outputs...IM gonna use locline and flare ended nozzles

the closed loop is just for basic circulation along the bottom and will be run by a MJ1200
the CL has one input and one output


anyways, here is the diagram

why not have 2 returns for the closed loop and 1 or 2 returns for the sump


HOW much flow are you going to be running threw the sump?

A MJ1200 is too unreliable to "stay together" outside of a tank, I would not trust one. It could come apart or spring a leak and drain your tank.

ok, you think it would be better to modify sump return to 2 outlets and switch CL loop to 1 inlet, 2 outlets on a mag 3


the flow through the sump will hopefully be about 600 gph (thats my max, it is already drilled for a 1" drain)

I would do a sump, and forego the CL and maybe just get a SEIO.
