Just thought i would post this in case anyone was looking. Tank for sale trying to see if he will part any of it out.

it says on the post that he wont piece anything out. I would be interested in the fish if he was. I dont think anyone is going to pay 2500 for the whole setup.

no you are right. it was posted on the 16 of feb so maybe now he is just wanting to get rid of it and will piece it out

I agree, Tom... I don't think anyone would pay that much either. I emailed him to see if he still had it or would be willing to piece it out.

Who knows! Maybe someone would pay him that much. I've noticed that there is such a stereotype on saltwater tanks that some people will pay A LOT of money for one thats already running not realizing they're possibly going to be loosing a lot of money.

yeah, let me know if he is willing to piece out. I am about to start stocking my tank and some of his stuff would work well. Yeah the investment for salt water is huge, however the resell value isnt nearly what you paid for it.

I doubt he will piece out. He has tried to sell it a few times. The guy works at the Critter. His name is Kyle. I am not trying to blow it for him. But he isn't being very honest with his prices. I was the one that sold the tank, stand, sump, canopy, and the Koralias to him. I sold it all to him for what he says he paid for the stand. He is trying to make a killing on it. I even threw in a 40g breeder. I gave the LR to Petland as well so he probably just took it with him. Oh yeah one more thing here, there was a 36" Hamilton dual 175 watt MH fixture and ballasts with two 110 watt VHO's

If this is really the same guy it looks like he is just a liar. No fault in trying to make money on something, but he shouldn't say he has put $5500 in it himself.

Agreed 100% jrobison. It would be different if he hadn't lied about it, but thats a bit... no, completely ridiculous.

yeah i agree and i am sure that he will find some sucker. You think that he would want to share with fellow reefers. i mean I can see making a little money but just trying to get more than you paid

yeah that is pretty bad, hopefully no one will buy this from him at that price.
