I still use the original blade. Wash it with freshwater after every use. Takes off coralline like nobody's business but be careful around silicone.

I have also used the easy blade attached with silicone to a mag float for several years and it works like a champ.

geez,magfloat and 15 seconds per sq ft~tops. its not that bad .also dont you want to look at your tank every day ? look at it while cleaning the glass ?
