Tank height

Hey guys.

Been thinking of setting a horse tank up.
Have a quick question if i can. What kind of tank height do the smaller species of horses require to breed in? I have read a minimum of 18" for the more commonly kept variaties like H. reidi and H. erectus, but i am thinking more like H. barbouri, H. fuscus, or maybe H. breviceps?

3x the ehight of the seahorse after substrate is rule of thumb. So a 6" hore would need 18". A 4" horse would need 12"

I would keep barbs in the same height of tank as reidi or erectus.

I think fuscus or brvies might do well in a 20g long, but larger is cooler.

You'll need a chiller for the brevies.

I'm jealous you can get such species on that side of the pond.
